Venue
Farr Best Theater
Farr Best Theater is an intimate, 158-seat venue in downtown Mansfield with a long civic-theater story and a current community-arts role. Its history traces back to an October 10, 1917 opening by Milton May Farr, a 1950 name change to Farr Best Theater, and placement on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
Today, Farr Best operates as a community arts venue for concerts, movies, theatrical productions, lectures, dance, magic, and other community events. For live-music purposes, it is best framed as Mansfield's historic small-room arts venue: compact, civic-minded, and broad enough to host concerts alongside theater and community programming.
