Maddox-Muse Center

Maddox-Muse Center sits just east of Bass Performance Hall as a downtown Fort Worth performance complex built around smaller-room arts programming. Downtown Fort Worth Inc. describes the center as home to McDavid Studio and Van Cliburn Recital Hall, with McDavid Studio serving as an intimate performance space for off-Broadway productions as well as national and local music acts.

That gives Maddox-Muse a different role from the grand hall next door: it is the closer, more flexible room in the Bass Hall orbit, useful for recital-hall programs, studio shows, and music nights that belong in a seated performing-arts setting.
